Cleanine Shynolyte

Postby brianpc » Tue Apr 29, 2014 7:27 am

My question is more about post-process clean-up. I use Shynolyte with hard wood pegs in a rotary tumbler as a last step in polishing acrylic cubes before final hand buffing. Is there a recommended way to clean the barrel and parts after the Shynolyte? A fair amount of residue is left on both after the 24 hour tumbling period and nothing I tried short of wiping everything down by hand will work.

Wiping down the equipment/barrel by hand would be the most common method. Sometimes tumbling Corn Cob Grit in the barrel will help to absorb the Cream and clean the surfaces.
