Shipments Outside of the United States of America (Customs, Duties & Taxes)

When ordering from Kramer Industries, Inc., YOU, the buyer and/or recipient, are responsible for assuring that the product can be lawfully imported to the destination country, and for all fees associated with doing so.

The recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country. Orders shipped outside of the United States may be subject to, but not limited to, import taxes, customs, duties and fees levied by the destination country. The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to such import taxes, customs’ duties and fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches the recipient’s country. THESE FEES ARE SEPARATE FROM THE SHIPPING AND PROCESSING COSTS THAT ARE INVOICED. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient; Kramer Industries, Inc. has no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; contact your local customs office for more information. When customs clearance procedures are required, delays beyond our original delivery estimates may result.

Damage in Shipment

Despite our best efforts, items may occasionally be damaged in transit. Freight Carriers are liable for damage only when damage is indicated on the bill of lading before you sign for the shipment. Therefore, we recommend that you inspect the outside and contents of all cartons received. If any damage is found, write details on the bill of lading and save the shipment, including the outside container and inside packing material. It is also good practice to take photographs or video whenever possible.  Ask the delivery carrier to make an inspection immediately. These notations will allow us to make a claim on your behalf for shipping damage. Failure to make such notations makes it extremely difficult to make a claim and credit may not be issued if a claim is denied. Small Package Freight Carriers, like UPS or FedEx Ground, are liable for damage when damage is discovered prior to acceptance of the package.  When you sign for the shipment, you are stating that the shipment was received in good condition.  If you feel that the package is damaged, speak to your delivering driver about assisting you or refuse the package.  Again, it is also good practice to take photographs or video whenever possible.  For assistance and replacement information, please contact our Customer Service Department at 1-888-515-9443.

Out of stock items will automatically be placed on back order and shipped immediately when made available. Credit cards will not be charged until the item(s) ships.

Please call our Customer Service Department at 1-888-515-9443 for an RMA Authorization Number and shipping instructions prior to return. Returns cannot be accepted unless written authorization has been obtained. All returns must be in original packing, unopened, unused and in resalable condition.
